SquareGiraffe has designed a brand new addon that overcomes the problems with the standard GoldMine query editor, and adds some exciting new features. A sorely deficient capability of the standard GoldMine SQL interface is for the query editor window to resize, so that you can see the whole query. The SquareGiraffe interface allows you to alternatively resize the query editor part of the window and the result set part of the window. This has the benefit that you can maximise the query area when you construct the query, and alternate to a maximized result grid when you run (execute) the query.
In addition, GoldSQL allows you to perform queries between CONTACT1 and the CAL table. All the standard 'common' tables are stored in a separate directory in DBase versions, which made it awkward to do queries between these two tables. GoldSQL automatically adds a few entries to the user.ini file, which allows it to link all the GoldMine tables. In fact, any external table can be linked to your GoldMine data, by simply entering the folder of the table.
GoldSQL saves the queries you create in the standard GoldMine tables. This has the benefit that it makes the queries available to other users in your business that simply need to run the queries, rather than edit the queries... Try this new addon today.

Licencing
The licensing is concurrent and does not have to match the number of GoldMine licences. This means that if you have a 10 User GoldMine licence, you can buy any number of SquareGiraffe licences, which ANY users in your business (up to the maximum number of licences purchased) can use.
Example: A 10 user Genesis system with the ability to create up to 5 forms will cost 10 x £49.95, plus a one-off £100 for the Small Business FormDesigner licence.
Your licence will be sent to you by email. The small 1KB licence files need to be copied to the folder where the GMW4/5/6/7.exe file is.
